We now experience the event only through a screen, in a room, thousands of miles away from where it’s taking place. So I’ve shifted the reporter’s vantage point. I’m not photographing the event—I’m photographing the window through which it reaches us. A report on a report...
The collection explores light as a fundamental principle of life and creation..
But behind every petal, behind every seemingly familiar vein, lies a world the ordinary eye will never perceive. This is where ultraviolet light comes in.
Before any photograph is taken, each flower is placed under UV illumination. This invisible radiation reveals what daylight keeps silent: the internal maps of petals, veins of pollen drawn like constellations, the fluorescent pathways that have guided pollinating insects for millions of years....
