“What if movies could be felt rather than watched?”

Films In motion

“Films in Motion” is an art photography project that explores iconic films through the technique of intentional camera movement. Each image is the result of a single exposure—without editing or retouching—featuring only the camera, the screen, and time.

Films in Motion is an ever-evolving collection—each series is a unique encounter with a cinematic universe. The six series presented here are just the beginning. Any film, any genre, any era can become the subject of a new work. The only limit is the light on the screen. At any moment, I can extract the emotion it contains; time, in my work, becomes the catalyst for feelings.

These works are unique in the licensed merchandise market. I am proposing this project and concept to partners with existing relationships with studios, with a view to creating a limited-edition art print under official license—in which you would serve as the publisher.

“Films in Motion” is a confidential artistic project currently in development. The works presented here are shared for the sole purpose of establishing creative and commercial partnerships. Any reproduction, distribution, or use of these images without the artist’s express written permission is strictly prohibited. © Charles Hamonnais — All rights reserved.
