The threshold was not a boundary, but an invitation

This work features a transitional space, an architectural threshold where the interior and exterior overlap until they lose their outlines. A monumental arch opens to an almost white light, absorbing the human silhouettes that pass through it, while the city, fragmented into layers of colors and textures, persists on either side. The chromatic treatment transforms the scene into an immersive composition, where cafés, trees, and façades seem to exist simultaneously in multiple temporalities. The architectural lines, reflections, and transparencies blur the reading of the place, inviting the gaze to circulate slowly, as in a mental space rather than a physical one.
