The Guardians of a Night Passage

This work presents itself as a layering of worlds, a collision of visions that transforms a simple nighttime alley into a mental theater. The streetlights draw an almost solemn central axis, while the faces — sculptural fragments and human silhouettes — appear as motionless witnesses, observing a space they seem to know intimately. The superimposition of images creates an ambiance of lucid hallucination: a real street becomes an inner scene, haunted by memories, presences, projections. The bursts of light evoke a rain of ideas, thoughts, traces. The work questions how each place carries within it an invisible past, populated by figures that have never truly left it. A piece of the city transcends its materiality here to become a chamber of memory.
